Demo without signing up

Try Evensum with sample data – no account, no email address. How the demo area works and what gets stored.

What the demo area is

At /demo, Evensum runs on a complete sample household: recurring income and expenses, a joint account with reserves, ledger entries, two vehicles, a loan, and energy data including solar. These are the same screens as the real app – not a rebuild, not screenshots.

You need neither an account nor an email address.

Two levels: look around and try things

The area has two states, and the difference matters.

Looking around. If you simply open the demo, you see a fixed sample household. It is identical for every visitor and cannot be changed – which keeps it dependable and stable for search engines.

Trying things. "Start demo" in the bar at the top gives you your own copy. Inside it you can create, edit and delete anything without affecting anyone else. "Reset" discards the copy and returns you to the starting view.

What gets stored

Your copy is tied to a cookie and is deleted automatically after 24 hours – along with everything you created in it. No personal data is collected: no email address, no name, no account.

If you want to keep your entries, sign up and create a real household. Demo data cannot be transferred into an account – it is deliberately a playground.

What the demo leaves out

A few areas are missing because they require a real account or would have effects outside the app:

AreaReason
Account & profilerequires a real sign-in
Ad-free / subscriptioninvolves a real payment
Household & memberssends invitations by email
Setup wizardthe sample data is already there

For the same reason, the demo never sends email.

Advertising

Like the free version, the demo is ad-supported and shows ads. How to remove them permanently is covered under Ad-free.
